Global Equity (70:30) Index Fund

Fund aim

The investment objective of the fund is to provide diversified exposure to the UK and overseas equity markets. A 70/30 distribution between UK and overseas assets is maintained with the overseas allocation mirroring that of the FTSE All-World (ex UK) Index series. This includes developed and emerging markets.

Fund characteristics

The fund employs an index tracking strategy, aiming to capture the total Sterling performance of the UK and overseas equity markets, as represented by the FTSE All-Share index in the UK and FTSE All-World (ex UK) Index series for overseas. This includes developed and emerging market. A 70/30 distribution between UK and overseas assets is maintained. We follow a pragmatic approach to managing index funds, either investing directly in the securities of that index, or indirectly through other LGIM funds.
