The objective of the Fund is to provide a combination of growth and income by tracking the performance of the Solactive L&G Enhanced ESG Europe ex UK Index NTR, the “Benchmark Index”.

- What does it invest in? Invests in shares of Europe ex UK companies as represented by the Index, which is alternatively weighted to give greater weight to companies that score well against environmental, social and governance criteria. This means the Fund will invest more in companies that score well against these criteria, and less in companies that do not. In addition, the Index will target an annual reduction in its overall carbon emissions.
- How does it invest? Passively managed, to replicate the performance of the Index. As part of the Future World* range, the fund incorporates our Climate Impact Pledge, a targeted engagement process, and may exclude companies if engagement proves unsuccessful.
Management Team
The Index Fund Management team comprises 25 fund managers, supported by two analysts. Management oversight is provided by the Global Head of Index Funds. The team has average industry experience of 15 years, of which seven years has been at LGIM, and is focused on achieving the equally important objectives of close tracking and maximising returns.
